Here's one of the things about anthologies, at least to me, that I've come to realize.  I don't like just "random" anthologies of stories by random writers unless there's some kind of explanation to it.  A theme helps, of course, but I much prefer having the editors of the anthology write a few pages about why they chose what they did, what ( Read more... )

Well, this one doesn't quite have the breathless prose on the back of the book that An Honorable Defense had.  And, instead of it being a David Drake & Thomas T. Thomas collaboration, this one is David Drake and W. C. Dietz.
